Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in #MarsInChi Photography Competition (the "Competition") on Instagram, Facebook and X.
By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as the platform's terms of use. This competition is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram, Facebook or X.
Eligibility:
- The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 and older.
- Participants must have a valid account on Instagram, Facebook or X to enter.
How to Enter:
The Competition will be launched on Chichester Cathedral’s Instagram, Facebook and X pages on Monday 21st October 2024.
To enter, participants must follow these steps:
- Post your original photograph on your own Instagram, Facebook or X account.
- Use the hashtag #MarsinChi.
- Tag us in your post.
- Ensure your post is set to public so that it is viewable to the judging panel.
Entry Rules:
- Photographs must be the participant's original work.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entries containing offensive, inappropriate or copyrighted material will be disqualified.
- By entering the Competition, participants grant Chichester Cathedral the right to use, display and share their submitted photograph on social media, website and promotional materials with proper attribution.
Judging:
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition and adherence to the theme.
- The judging panel will consist of Chichester Cathedral and award-winning photographer Jakub Bors.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding.
Prizes:
Each winner will receive a Jakub Bors Chichester Cathedral at Night puzzle.
One winner will be chosen each week during the exhibition period. The winner will be announced on Chichester Cathedral’s Instagram, Facebook and X pages on Friday 25th October, Friday 1st November and Friday 8th November. The winner will be notified through a direct message on the platform with details on how to claim their prize.
Privacy and Data Use:
Any personal information provided will be used solely for the administration of the Competition and in accordance with Chichester Cathedral's privacy policy.
Liability:
Chichester Cathedral is not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries, or any other problems that may arise during the Competition.
Participants acknowledge that Chichester Cathedral and Instagram, Facebook and X are not liable for any damages or injuries that may result from participation in the Competition.
Amendment and Termination:
Chichester Cathedral reserves the right to amend or terminate the Competition or these terms and conditions at its discretion.
By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not enter the Competition.
