The Festival of Flowers raises significant funds for the restoration of Chichester’s 950-year-old Cathedral and the wider heritage of the Cathedral including world-class music, learning and engagement and art.
The Festival of Flowers has raised over £2.5million towards preserving this historic place of worship in the last 22 years.
Caroline Daines, founder of the acclaimed Sussex-based floral design studio Nordic Twigs, has been annouced as the Designer for our highly anticipated Festival of Flowers 2026. Inspired by her Swedish roots and the rolling landscapes of West Sussex where she has lived for nearly 15 years, Caroline’s work combines Nordic simplicity with Britain’s rich, eclectic heritage. Her floral creations are renowned for their natural elegance, seasonal abundance, and ability to evoke the beauty of the great outdoors.
The Festival of Flowers will take place from 3rd – 6th June 2026, with further details of ticket sales being announced on the Cathedral website soon.
With over 15,000 visitors expected over the four-day event, we need an army of volunteers to help with stewarding and maintain the flow of visitors. Volunteers will ensure that displays are not touched or moved, answer queries, and help where needed. If you would like to join us as a volunteer, please contact flowerfestival@chichestercathedral.org.uk. We also need volunteers to help in the marketplace whilst the Festival is open, and to support the flower arrangers during the build-up to its opening.
Details of sponsorship packages to be announced.
