The Prebendal School is located next door to the Cathedral in the centre of this beautiful and historic city.
The school is proud of its place in history as the oldest school in Sussex, probably dating back to the foundation of the Cathedral itself in the 11th century. The Cathedral’s world-class choristers live and learn at The Prebendal. The school has developed an impressive reputation as a centre for musical excellence – music for all is their guiding philosophy and it can be heard throughout the school from dawn until dusk.
