With our autumn exhibition now open, we are delighted to share details of how Peace Doves continues to inspire through two competitions, allowing participants to celebrate peace and creativity.
#PeaceDovesChichester Photography Competition:
Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to enter our #PeaceDovesChichester competition by capturing Peter Walker Sculptor’s exquisite Peace Doves installation.
Follow these simple steps to enter:
Snap: Capture a photo or video of Peace Doves, suspended above the Cathedral’s historic Nave.
Share: Post your photograph or video on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, X) using the hashtag: #PeaceDovesChichester and remember to tag us in.
Win: We will select four winning photographs or videos to feature on our official social media channels.
Prizes: Each winner will receive a Chichester Cathedral goodie bag, which includes a Cathedral guidebook, Peace Doves badge and photo frame from Whitby’s Photo-Video. Winners will be contacted by social media via the Chichester Cathedral account.
Window Display Competition:
Led by Chichester BID, the city's businesses have been invited to participate in a creative window display competition. A wonderful opportunity to showcase artistic talent and ingenuity inspired by the theme of Peace Doves, we encourage you to visit the following beautiful displays while you're here in the city centre:

Judging:
The judging will take place on Thursday 5th October with judges Helen Marshall, CEO and Chair of Chichester BID, and Chichester Cathedral's Interim Dean, The Reverend Canon Simon Holland.
Prize:
The winning business will receive complimentary tickets for their team to attend one of our special Peace Doves evening viewings on Friday 28th October, Thursday 2nd November, Friday 3rd November or Thursday 9th November. Additionally, they will receive a £50 Chichester Gift Card to spend at one of Chichester's restaurants or bars during what will be a memorable team outing.
