The Bishop of Chichester and Chichester Cathedral will be delivering a schedule of live-streamed services for Holy Week 2020.
In unprecedented times and with church buildings across the Diocese of Chichester closed for public worship, Dr Warner will mark the start of Holy Week this coming Sunday (5 April) with a Palm Sunday service live-streamed at 10.30am.
Reflective audio services for Monday 6, Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 April (7.30pm) will be provided by the Cathedral’s clergy, in which they will talk about the many aspects of Jesus' final entry into Jerusalem.
On Maundy Thursday (9 April), in place of a diocesan-wide service in Chichester Cathedral when clergy traditionally renew their ordination vows, Dr Warner will lead a short live-streamed liturgy of renewal (12.00pm). In the evening of the same day the Bishop will also celebrate the Eucharist (7:30pm).
Jesus' death on the cross will be marked by a poignant service led by the Bishop on Good Friday (3.00pm). He will also lead the celebration of the resurrection with a special Easter Day service (10.30am).

Of course, there are some who still do not connect via technology and I know clergy are working hard to make sure that they are not forgotten.”
