Tree of 100 Stars

Located within the Cathedral’s historic Cloisters, theTree of 100 Stars earned its name from an ambitious challenge set by artist Vicki Brown, who sought to craft a tree adorned with exactly 100 stars!

Can you count them all? This enchanting tree is constructed using traditional lantern-making techniques, combining willow and paper to create its form.

This tree, sponsored by Kiwi Recruitment, forms part of Chichester’s Christmas Tree Stroll. This enchanting trail will lead you to 11 beautifully decorated trees dotted around the city centre.

Among the trees are six stunning sculptures, specially commissioned by Chichester BID and created by talented local artists using sustainable materials.

During October Half Term, the public will have the opportunity to participate in a series of free workshops, where they can collaborate with the commissioned artists to create elements for the sustainable tree sculptures.
