General Election 2024 – Hustings at Chichester Cathedral

General election Hustings will be held at Chichester Cathedral on Wednesday 26th June (7.00pm) providing an opportunity for the people of Chichester to hear parliamentary candidates answer questions from their prospective constituents about key issues in the run up to Polling Day on 4th July 2024.

This will be the fourth time that the Cathedral has hosted this pre-election debate, and will be chaired by Gary Shipton, Editor In Chief and Regional Director of Sussex World which includes publications such as Chichester Observer, Worthing Herald, Hastings and Bexhill Observers.

Candidates present will be:

  • Jessica Brown-Fuller, Liberal Democrats
  • Tom Collinge, Labour 
  • Teresa De Santis, Reform UK 
  • Gillian Keegan, Conservative & Unionist Party 
  • Tim Young, Green Party

Booking

This event is free to attend, but due to capacity we ask for you to register your attendance in advance. Whilst registering online, you will have the chance to submit questions for the candidates. Please be aware that questions posed to the parliamentary candidates will be chosen from the questions submitted in advance. There will not be an opportunity to ask questions on the night.
