Festival of Flowers 2024

The Festival of Flowers is a four day spectacular in the setting of Chichester’s almost 950 year old Cathedral, taking place from 5th – 8th June 2024. 

Visitors to the Festival will have the opportunity to experience 60 floral arrangements, handcrafted by talented florists and flower enthusiasts from across the county. 

The Festival will also see the return of celebrated Sculptor Philip Jackson, who will be presenting an exhibition of sculptures exclusively for ticket holders. 

Whether you are a keen gardener or simply appreciate the beauty of flowers, we are confident that you will find something to inspire and delight you. 


Shop, Eat & Explore 

ShopVisitors can browse through an exclusive range of stalls within the on-site Market, nestled in the Cathedral’s 600 year-old Cloisters. The Market offers unique products from a range of Sussex-based suppliers and businesses - from handcrafted floral arrangements, items for house and home, to local wine and produce. It's a perfect opportunity to find that special gift or memento of your visit. 
EatThe newly opened Cloisters Kitchen & Garden offers a broad selection of teas, coffees, cakes and light lunches. The tranquil Garden setting provides a serene atmosphere to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea or simply unwind amidst the natural beauty of the Cathedral's surroundings. 
ExploreThose travelling from further afield may want to conclude their visit by exploring the historic city of Chichester, from the Roman city walls and tranquil green spaces to a mix of independent shops and eateries, as well as big High Street names - all a short distance from the Cathedral. 

Booking 

Tickets for the Festival of Flowers 2024 are on sale now. Tickets cost £18.00 per person, under 16's free. The Festival is open from 9.30am – 5.00pm, last entry 4.15pm. An Accessibility evening takes places on Friday, 7th June from 4.30pm.

  • Only assistance dogs are allowed in the Cathedral during events, including the Festival of Flowers.

Chichester Cathedral’s Festival of Flowers is a biennial event organised by Chichester Cathedral Trust. The Festival has raised over £1.2million towards the cost of restoration work over the past 22 years.
