James Allport, who in the Cathedral looks after our group for young people will talk about his day job ‘Behind the Scenes at John Lewis’.
We meet at 2.00pm in 4 Canon Lane with a welcome, followed by a talk and discussion for about 45 minutes. The afternoon is rounded off with tea and biscuits. We will be asking for a donation of £2. Everyone is very welcome and we look forward to seeing you. For more information or offers of help please contact fellowship@chichestercathedral.org.uk or telephone 01243 372234.
The Cathedral Fellowship is an opportunity for established members of the congregation and newcomers alike to get to know each other better by exploring a topic, usually with a guest speaker in the comfortable surroundings of 4 Canon Lane. Here we might make new friendships, enrich established ones and enhance our commitment to each other and the body of Christ at the Cathedral to which we belong and which plays such an important part in our lives.
One of our aims over the next year or so is to re-establish the connection between the Community and those who work for us in the offices. So as well as presentations by members of our congregation and visitors we are planning to invite members of staff to tell us something about their backgrounds and what their role is in the Cathedral organisation. As there have been a number of changes in both people and roles over the past two years this will be a great opportunity to bring ourselves up to date and understand recent developments.
