Compline is a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. It derives its name from the Latin word for "completion", referring to the completion of the waking day.
Choral Compline will be held at 8.00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week (3rd - 5th April). The service will begin with a short address from The Right Reverend Graeme Knowles, Acting Dean, and will be sung by the Cathedral Choir.
The Lord almighty grant us a quiet night and a perfect end.
