Celebration of Sussex Food and Farming

This Harvestide, Chichester Cathedral will welcome members of the National Farmers' Union, the Farming Community Network and Chichester Young Farmers' Club for a special service in celebration of Sussex Food and Farming

In partnership with Sussex branches of the National Farmers' Union and the Farming Community Network, this special service will feature short presentations from representatives of each organisation, plus the Trussell Trust and Chichester District Foodbank, which will be marking its 10th year of operation.

Alongside guest preacher The Bishop of Chichester, The Right Reverend Dr Martin Warner, the service will also feature music from the Cathedral Choir, and presentations from former Church of England Rural Officer The Revd Mark Betson and Joanne Kondabeka, founder of Chichester District Foodbank.

Two tractors will be parked by the Bell Tower.

The service will be followed by tea and cake. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the Chichester District Foodbank, you can see what they are in need of here>>
