In this 3-day retreat at 4 Canon Lane, Canon Daniel Inman (Precentor, Chichester Cathedral) and the Rev’d Rachel Hawes (Associate Rector, St Peter’s Westhampnett) will guide us in a meditation upon the life of Christ using Scripture, silence and the paintings of the early Renaissance painter, Piero della Francesca (1415-92). This is not a course in art history, but an opportunity to take time out to go deeper in your faith through reflections and meditations on these striking portrayals of Christ’s life by Piero.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of 4 Canon Lane and with worship in the Cathedral and time available for individual spiritual accompaniment, the retreat is an ideal opportunity to enter more deeply into the mystery of life in Christ.
