Accommodation Team Members

We are expanding our Accommodation team and are looking for Weekend staff to work between 4 and 12 hours to assist in managing our accommodation (a guest house and AirBnB properties) in the Cathedral precinct.

Our Accommodation team members are responsible for:
  • Ensuring all quest rooms in our venues are maintained to an exceptionally high standard of presentation at all times;
  • cleaning/resetting our guest accommodation;
  • providing excellent service on a daily basis and during one-off events;
  • assisting with events and event set-up where required;
  • ensuring that health & safety, fire and food safety standards are maintained across all our accommodation ensuring that our sites are always compliant, at all times.

The package
  • Weekend Accommodation Assistants salary is £9.90 per hour.

Our ideal candidates
  • You will have a good standard of education and experience of working in a similar, either in hotels, pubs or bed & breakfasts is essential. 
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide our visitors with an excellent level of customer service.
  • You will also have an excellent attention to details and be prepared to go the extra mile in order to ensure that our accommodation is maintained to a very high standard.
  • This post is open to all and there is no expectation that applicants are Christians; however, applicants should have an understanding of and empathy with the aims of the Cathedral.
