Over four days, visitors to Chichester Cathedral explored over 60 spectacular floral arrangements, created by 160 volunteers using 50,000 blooms.

The arrangements responded to the theme of ‘Life In All Its Fullness’, exploring the benefits of art, nature and music in healing, and included picturesque tableaus, gardens and pedestal arrangements.

The Cathedral's Festival of Flowers was opened by The Dean of Chichester, The Very Reverend Stephen Waine, and the Festival’s Patron, star of the stage and screen Hugh Bonneville.

Complementing the Festival was a Fair, featuring a range of stalls with food, gifts and accessories and an exhibition of works from renowned sculptor Philip Jackson.

The Festival of Flowers has raised over £1million towards the cost of the Cathedral’s restoration work over the past twenty-two years. This year the Festival had the support of Title Sponsor Rathbone Investment Management.

Keep an eye on the Cathedral website and social media channels in the days to come, as we share images from this year's Festival.

Don’t miss out!

The Big Flower Sell Off will take place on Monday 13th June 2022 (from 9.00am). Grab yourself a bargain when blooms from the arrangements are sold at the West Door of the Cathedral.
