Field of Blooms has been presented as part of Chichester Cathedral's Advent and Christmas celebrations in 2021, on display from the 29th November 2021 - 30th January 2022.

Below, we share some of the wonderful photos shared with us from visitors to the exhibition, which was presented within Paradise, a reflective green space within the Cathedral’s 600 year old Cloisters.

A surprise proposal in the Field of Blooms . Huge congratulations to Anthony and Fanny, who were staying in Chichester on holiday from France - she said yes!

2.

Field of Blooms  is seen from a new level, as the spheres of light fills Paradise.

4.

The Cathedral stands mighty as the light gradually changes and morphs in colour.

5.

A warm glow seeps through the stained-glass, contrasting the bright spheres of the Field of Blooms .

‘The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it’ (John 1.5).

9.

For over nine centuries this Cathedral stood as a witness to that light. And today our doors are open to all.
