As part of Heritage Open Days Chichester Cathedral is delighted to present a series of events to showcase the history of the Cathedral – both in-person and online.

We have also partnered with Chichester BID to create a trail on their LoyalFree app to highlight a number of local organisations and attractions where you can discover our city’s history.

Upcoming Events @ Chichester Cathedral

Heritage Open Days | Show & Tell (South Transept)

Discover a number of historical objects hand-selected from the Cathedral’s Library by Sub-Librarian Diana Wills. Our knowledge of the Library is partial but a reasonable number of books can be traced back as far as the late 12th century. This session is drop-in, delivered by Cathedral volunteers on a first-come, first served basis. Please wear a face mask and observe social distancing when taking part. Further guidance can be found on the ‘Visit’ section of our website.

See our Events page for times.
